Board Members

As a member of Jasper County REMC you have the privilege of voting for your board of directors. You will receive a voting ballot in the mail telling you the candidates’ names along with the specific place, date and time of the annual meeting. You will have the ability to vote by mail, online through SmartHub, the SmartHub app or in-person at the annual meeting. We hope you will take this opportunity to participate in your electric cooperative.

There are 7 board members on the Jasper County REMC board who serve 3-year terms. Director positions appear on the ballot every year.

The Jasper County REMC board of directors designed a new district map (PDF) in 2019 based on the number of members in each township. This strategy allows the directors to represent the members more evenly across the service territory. Even though the district footprints might not look ‘even,’ the actual number of members in each district is much more equal.
