Since we have automated digital meters, we do not manually read the meters. We can generally tell from the automated readings if the meter is working properly. That being said, we do schedule testing of meters every few years to maintain our systems.

Please make sure we have the required access to your meter:

  • Remove or trim overgrown shrubs, trees and vines.
  • If you have a dog in a fenced yard where the meter is located, please have a sign on the fence so we
           can ask you to manage the dog while we work.
  • Remove any debris or vehicles that would interfere with us servicing your meter.


Request for Meter Test
Each request to test a meter must be made in writing. Members are allowed only one free meter test per 12-month period. If there is a second request made within the 12-month period, you will be charged for the test. If we find an error in the meter, you will not be charged for the test.
